The setting and seating

We know it’s the little details that make an occasion so special, so you can expect lighting, furnishings and accessories that perfectly complement our sheltered woodland backdrop. Diners will be seated at our vintage wooden trestles that accommodate six to eight per table. You can book a minimum of four per table, or join tables together for larger parties (Covid restrictions permitting). There will be baskets of blankets available for added warmth, an on-site bar to buy drinks (more on this below) and our compost toilet is just a short walk away.

The bar

We’re lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the UK’s finest vineyards and breweries, and there will be an enticing selection of beers and wines to choose from, along with a range of soft drinks, at our on-site bar. Cards are accepted. (One set welcome drink per person is included in the ticket price.)

Parking

There is free on-site parking a short three-minute walk from the feast. Floodlights and festoons will light your way between the car park and feasting area. You will be sent detailed directions with your booking confirmation.

The weather

If rain is forecast, we will erect one of our sleek stretch marquees, keeping the sides raised where we can, to give you as much of the alfresco dining experience as possible whilst keeping you sheltered and dry.

Stay the night

Why not take full advantage of the beautiful setting and fine beers and wines by finishing the night in one of our on-site accommodations for two? You can choose from one of our shepherd huts or our charming treehouse for that extra special treat. Find out more about our accommodation here.

FAQs

Due to the nature of our events, we are only able to accommodate limited dietary requests, but will try to meet any dietary needs where possible. Please note, any dietary needs must be made known to us and approved prior to booking your seat at our table, and must be communicated to us no later than 7 days prior to the event so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

If you have an allergy or intolerance, please note that all ingredients are handled in our woodland feast, therefore it is impossible for us to guarantee that your dish will be 100% allergen-free. If you have a serious allergy, please make that known to us before booking, so we can provide you with information to help you make a safe and informed choice.

We urge you to check the set menu details related to the event you’re interested in, prior to booking your seat.

Please see our menu above for the relevant weekend that you’re booking on our website.  If you have any queries you are welcome to get in touch.

If rain is forecast, we will erect a stretch marquee and keep the sides open, weather allowing, to give you as much of an outdoor dining experience as we can.

In the rare event of extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to make an informed decision to cancel/postpone the meal as we must prioritise the safety of our diners and the team.  These conditions may include heavy rain, high winds, thunderstorms, hail or heavy snow.

Please keep an eye on the weather forecast and dress appropriately.

In the event that Covid-19 restricts the dining event from taking place, we will rebook the event to alternative dates that will be confirmed once we know when any restrictions are likely to be lifted.
